Women in Engineering Affinity Group
The South Saskatchewan Section is proud to have a Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group. IEEE Women in Engineering is a global network of IEEE members and volunteers dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests in a career in engineering and science.
This Affinity Group was established in April 2021 by a combined group of students, industry employees and education professionals. One mandate of the group is to support The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) in their commitment to 30 by 30 initiative set by Engineers Canada.
